We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance Director to lead our compliance strategy and ensure adherence to federal regulations.
Position Overview:
The Compliance Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing compliance with FedRAMP High and IL5 standards, ensuring that all operational processes align with federal regulations and best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in compliance management, particularly in a technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, and the ability to implement systems that foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs that ensure adherence to FedRAMP High and IL5 standards, including regular audits and assessments.
- Policy Development: Design and implement policies and procedures that align with federal regulations and industry best practices, ensuring that all employees are aware of compliance requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance standards, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance metrics and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting compliance status, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with changes in federal regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that the organization adapts to new requirements promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance management, with at least 3 years focused on FedRAMP and IL5 compliance.• Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Experience in conducting audits and assessments, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in compliance management tools and data analytics.
Screening Criteria:
- Background Check: A thorough background check will be conducted, including verification of employment history, education credentials, and any criminal records. Any involvement in activities that may pose a risk to national security will also be checked.
- Security Clearance Eligibility: The candidate must be able to obtain required DoD clearance requirements.
- Reference Checks: Thorough reference checks will be conducted to gather insights into the candidate's professional conduct, reliability, and trustworthiness.
