We are looking for a talented individual who can create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our complex web applications. As a UX Designer at Ask Sage, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the user experience for our BtoB applications and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end users to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for complex web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Optimize user interfaces for responsiveness and compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, incorporating them into the design process at Ask Sage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the overall user experience strategy for our BtoB applications and experiences.
- Use Adobe tools and other relevant software to create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
- Experience in Node JS / React is a plus, as it will enable you to better understand the technical aspects of the development process and collaborate effectively with the development team.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in building complex UI for modern web applications.
- Proficiency in Adobe tools to create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
- Experience in optimizing UX for complex BtoB applications and experiences.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
- Familiarity with HTML5 and its capabilities in creating interactive web experiences.
- Strong Experience with Node JS / React.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and pain points.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A passion for user-centered design and a strong attention to detail.

- Background Check: A thorough background check will be conducted, including verification of employment history, education credentials, and any criminal records. Any involvement in activities that may pose a risk to national security will also be checked.
- Security Clearance Eligibility: The candidate must be able to obtain required DoD clearance requirements.
- Portfolio Review: A review of your portfolio will be conducted to assess your expertise in building complex UI for modern web applications and optimizing UX for BtoB applications and experiences.
- Technical Assessment: A technical assessment may be conducted to evaluate your proficiency in Adobe tools, responsive design principles, and HTML5.
- Interview: In-depth interviews will be conducted to assess your knowledge, skills, and experience related to UX design and your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
